Whole or Hole?
Exemple : ‘’I ate the whole packet of crisps.’’
The words "whole" and "hole" are homonymes and are thus often mixed up. The word "whole" is used to refer to the entirety of something.
Exemple : ‘’There is a big hole in the sole of my shoe.’’
The word "hole" is used to desribe part of something which is missing or an empty space in an object.
