Whine or Wine ?

"Whine" and "wine" are often mixed up due to the fact they are spelt in a very similar way. "Whine" is a verb most commonly used when referring to either dogs or children. It denotes the act of making a long, sharp sound or the act of complaining a lot.
Exemple : ‘’I much prefer white wine to red.’’
"Wine" is a noun and denotes the alcoholic drink made from grapes.
