Whereever or Wherever?

Exemple : ‘’I am happy to eat wherever you would like to!’’

The word "wherever" is often misspelt due to the fact that people realise that it is comprised of the words "where" and "ever" and thus they retain the "e" at the end of "where" and at the start of "ever." However there is only one "e" in the word "wherever."
