Wail or Whale ?
Exemple : ‘’I heard him wail from downstairs!’’
The words "wail" and "whale" are often mixed up with each other. "Wail" is used as both a verb and a noun to denote a sound similar to a long, loud cry.
Exemple : ‘’A whale was washed up on the beach.’’
A "whale" is the name given to a very large sea mammal which uses a hole in its head to breathe.
