Not sure how to spell a word? Hesitate no longer.

Travel to or Travel through?

Your choice!

Travel to

Exemple : ‘’Next week I have to travel to France for business.’’

There is often confusion regarding the prepositions "through" and "to" when they follow the verb "travel." To "travel in" is used to denote the final destination of the travelling.

Travel through

Exemple : ‘’In order to get to Australia I have to travel through Hong Kong.’’

To "travel through" is used to denote the act of passing by a place which is not the final destination.
