Tie or Thai?
Exemple : ‘’It was a formal dress code so I wore my tie.’’
The words "tie" and "Thai" are homonyms and are therefore often mixed up. "Tie" can be used as a noun denoting the item worn round the collar of a shirt. It can also be used as a verb meaning "to draw," in a competition for example.
Exemple : ‘’I went out for a Thai meal last night with my husband.’’
The word "Thai" refers to something from the country Thailand.
