Exemple : ‘’I am going to the shop and then I will come home.’’
"Then" and "than" are often confused due to their similar sound although they have completely different meanings. ‘Then’ can be used to denote a point in time or as a synonym of the words "next" and "also."
Than
Exemple : ‘’It is hotter in Spain than in England.’’
"Than" is a conjunction used in order to compare two things. When is it used to compare numbers or amounts it is preceded by the words "more" or "less."
