Tail
Exemple : ‘’My cat has a long and bushy tail. ’’
A common mistake is to confuse the words “tail” and “tale which are homonyms. A “tail” is a part of an animals body which sticks out from the base of their back.
Tale
Exemple : ‘’The tale of the boy who cried wolf is very famous.’’
A “tale” is a story and more specifically often relates to a story which is exceptionally difficult to believe.
