Steak or Stake?
Exemple : ‘’I am going to cook a piece of beef steak for dinner tonight.’’
The words "steak" and "stake" are homonyms and can often be mixed up. "Steak" is a fat and thick cut of either meat or fish.
Exemple : ‘’I hold a 50% stake in the company.’’
A "stake" can either be used to denote a stick which is commonly associated with vampires or as a synonym of the word "share," in a business context.
