Sow or So ?

The words "sow" and "so" are homonyms and this can result in confusion. "Sow" is a verb and is used in order to express the act of planting something. It can also be used in a more figurative way in the expression "to sow doubt in the mind" in order to express the idea of causing a feeling of doubt.

"So" is an adverb and can be used in a variety of different ways. In this example it is used as a synonym of the word "very."
