Peek

The words "peek" and "pique" are homonyms and are often mixed up. "Peek" is a verb and is very commonly used in relation to the childhood game hide and seek. It is used to denote a quick glance at something which one is not supposed to look at.
Pique
Exemple : ‘’A fit of pique hit me after he was rude!’’
"Pique" is used to denote a very sudden outburst of anger or outrage.
