Not sure how to spell a word? Hesitate no longer.

Passed or Past?

Your choice!

Exemple : ‘’I passed the exam with the highest mark in the year.’’

The words "passed" and "past" are often mixed up. "Passed' is the past tense of the verb "to pass" as well as the past participle.

Exemple : ‘’I drove past your house today but you weren't in!’’

"Past" has a number of different uses. It can be used as a noun, adjective, preposition or adverb. It conveys the idea of something which has already happened or which is in a position further than something else.
