Exemple : ‘’It is a common misconception that young people are lazy.’’

The word "misconception" is commonly misspelt with an extra "s." The word should be spelt with only a single letter "s" as it is comprised of the word "conception" along with the suffix "mis" which is used in order to denote that something is wrong. For example it also appears in the word "mistake."
