Leafs or Leaves ?

Exemple : ‘’In autumn there are always leaves all over the ground.’’

The plural of the word "leaf" should be spelt with a "v." Many nouns which end with a single letter "f" are spelt with "ves" in the plural version. Other examples of words which follow this rule are "thief" which becomes "thieves" and "wolf" which becomes "wolves."
