Here or Hear?
Exemple : ‘’I will be here for another hour.’’
“Here” and “hear” are homophones and this can lead to confusion regarding their usage. “Here” can function as an adverb, adjective and noun. In all cases it refers to the location of a person or thing.
Exemple : ‘’The music is so loud that I can't hear what you're saying!’’
“Hear” is a verb related to the ability to recognise sound. It can work as both a transitive and intransitive verb.
