Fearful or Fearsome?
Exemple : ‘’I am fearful that he is going to miss the flight!’’
The words "fearful" and "fearsome" are often used incorrectly. "Fearful" means to be frightened or scared about something.
Exemple : ‘’The President has a very fearsome reputation.’’
"Fearsome" is used to mean something capable of causing fear and therefore something which is fearsome causes us to be fearful.
