The words "cereal" and "serial" are often mixed up due to the fact that they are homonyms. "Cereal" is an item of food which is most commonly eaten for breakfast and derives from the Latin word "cerealis."
Serial
Exemple : ‘’The book I am reading is about a serial killer.’’
"Serial" can be used as an adjective to denote something which happens regularly. It can also be used as a noun in order to express a television programme or story which is broadcasted or published in separate parts.
