"Apart" and "a part" can easily cause confusion. ‘"Apart" is an adverb which is used to suggest separation.
A part
Exemple : ‘’There was a part in the film which I didn’t understand.’’
‘A part’ is a noun used to mean a piece of something which forms the whole.
