Allot or A lot?
Exemple : ‘’I will allot you a time to come and meet me.’’
The word "allot" and "a lot" are commonly mixed up. "Allot" is a verb used to denote giving something, or a part of something, to someone with a particular purpose in mind.
Exemple : ‘’There are a lot of people in the restaurant.’’
"A lot" is used to denote that there is a large quantity of something.
