Sweat or Sweet ?

The words "sweat" and "sweet" have similar spellings and this results in confusion. The words have very different meanings though. "Sweat" can be used as both a verb and a noun as a synonym of the word "perspiration."
Exemple : ‘’I prefer sweet food over savoury!’’
"Sweet" can be used as both an adjective and a noun. As an adjective it denotes something which has a sugary taste. As an adjective in informal contexts it can also be used as a synonym of the word "cute." When the word "sweet" is used as a noun it denotes a small sugary piece of confectionary.
